The tech stack company uses if far behind with the current industry, some of script is still written in php3 and no one including the seniors and manager to push upgrade the tech stack. What you can learn from here is 10+ years ago tech, and most of the time, what I do is just copy paste the code.
The salary you get is far behind current Singapore software engineer standard. it's half of SG average developer salary.
Poor management and toxic. during cov period when everyone is forced to WFH, with no access to the equipment, is very hard to conduct proper testing. My mangager ignore all this facts and blame me for the bugs even I can't access the equipement to do proper testing.
Even during my leave period where I told my manager it's very important leave for my for fmaily stuff. I still receive messages and blame for the projects, and I need to fix that ASAP.
Overall, toxic, poor mangament, blame, and old tech stack.
