Pros

What started as a pro turned con very quickly, however I will go ahead and share anyways.....You can act like a total animal and you will fit right in!

Cons

If you are a true professional you have no chance here. They have laid of about 40 people in the last two months and continue to hire! We would much prefer people keep their jobs than have an international Foosball challenge. They preech culture and then line people up for slaughter like it's nothing. I have seen about 40 people fired in the past 3 months alone! They do not fire based on merit and I have watched kids get promotion after promotion while watching producing professionals get walked out! If you are looking to join a frat house, this is for you. If you are really trying to advance in your career, this is not that place. On top of it all the product does not work! When the phone actually does ring the customer is furious! The customer service is so horrific we have had angry customers show up at our office building! Yikes! Run....run quickly!

Pros

There isn't much pressure on employees to perform even though the company is in trouble financially. Free beer on Friday. They have done foosball tournaments. It's a party atmosphere basically, just unfortunately a party on the Titanic.

Cons

They bought aging technology and then tried to make it new and exciting using the same people that built the old stuff. It isn't working, nobody is buying it. As a result, someone must be blamed and it is never the people in the inner circle. The nepotism is rampant and goes way beyond just the last names. Management values one thing only: Loyalty. If you hang with them at the bars or marry one of them, you might survive the next round of layoffs.

Their Way Or The Highway

Pros

If you have zero other options and very little experience in software, this will be a good place to work to learn all the signs of a failing business.

Cons

They recently had a partner conference where they "laid down the law" and would not let any employees communicate with partners we work with on a day-to-day basis. They only want "approved" messaging. This seems very similar to another business, well, country rather, North Korea. They also didn't want us to attend the annual conference because of the cost of dinner and the normal cocktail or two. Normally, a conference would be a great time to create relationships between SP employees and their partners that resell their software. If only they understood the benefit of relationships... Wait a minute, don't they claim to own and sell a customer relationship management software (CRM)?
