Do you love answering the phone to customers that have been waiting for four hours? Does it bring you joy when they’ve already rang four times and your colleagues have fobbed them off and not done what they said they would? Do you like being managed by people with not enough knowledge to function as a competent FNOL claims handler, let alone manage a team? Perhaps you’d enjoy being screamed at by a customer whose life has been ruined because they have a judgment against them that we promised to pay months ago. If so, this place is for you! Seriously; don’t do this to yourself unless you are a masochist. We don’t have anywhere near enough people to answer the phone. Most people have no idea what They’re doing and the customers are quite rightly angry. On a positive, there are some nice people but they are all sick of it too and most people that knew what they were doing have either left or got sacked for pointing out the obvious; that incompetence and low pay doesn’t make for good service or happy staff. We can’t offer proper service but at least we’ve just made a secretary director of culture to assess what the internal and external impression of the company is. Maybe look at the emails of the lad you sacked for discussing his impressions of the internal culture of the company. Lolz

See pros! Pay terrible. You might be able to get more right now as they’re desperate. They have more new plans than Baldrick and they are of equal quality. They will not entertain anyones sensible opinions on how they might not drive the company off a cliff. Action is a “We are one big family here” type company. Like my family, they’re often rude and moody for no reason and expect something for nothing. This is particularly irksome when you see the owner of the company in the press going on about how great and rich she is. If you’ve sat in claims and watched this company be managed down the drain and good people treated like dirt. It’s offensive.
