Pros
Not a single thing. Not even one.
Cons
From top to bottom, everything is heavily rotten. Toxic colleagues, passive-agressive owners.
Pros
Working from home is the only good thing.
Cons
There are two different companies within one when it comes to employee treatment. If you're a software developer, you'll be treated as a human being. If you're not a software developer, expect bullying and humiliation. There are two owners who don't speak to each other; one is absent, and the other suffers from severe micromanagement. All his decisions are based on his personal beliefs and preferences. Experienced employees can't do their jobs because the owner demands that everything be done to his liking, even if it's bad for the product. Fights are not uncommon, as professionals try to explain their suggestions from the point of view of their expertise, but the owner can't be reasoned with. Employees don't get a raise for years and there are absolutely no bonuses, ever. If you want a raise, you have to beg for it, even after 4 years, regardless of the work you put in or the rising cost of living. Sometimes, they approve the request for a raise, but that doesn't mean they'll pay. You have to humiliate yourself once again by begging them to pay you the approved raise. The private medical insurance they highlight is extremely limited and doesn't even cover an eye exam. Recently, they hired a new marketing manager and several other managers, none of whom have the necessary qualifications to do their jobs. All these managers were hired because of their connections, bypassing any hiring process. The job openings are only for operational positions. In other words, the people hired through a published opening will do all the work these unqualified managers come up with, while they promise "long-term strategies" that are never really delivered or presented. Skilled employees are constantly burdened with more and more work for which they're not paid or thanked. The owner's micromanaging habits brought the company to its knees. He, along with the managers, likes to place the blame for bad results on former employees who never had a say in anything anyway. There is no HR department, no evaluations, zero chances to be promoted, and no one to complain to if you feel burnt out or bullied. All in all, good luck to anyone who is trying to work for this company.
Pros
Not a single good thing about this company.
Cons
The culture is completely toxic, from the owners all the way down. Management, especially the marketing manager, is not only mean but also completely non-literal and disinterested in any real progress or employee well-being. There are absolutely ZERO benefits and bonuses, and the salary is embarrassingly low for the amount of work expected. The HR department might as well not exist – there’s no support or structure for employees. The owners and upper management are arrogant, with no willingness to listen to ideas or feedback. The entire culture feels like it’s rotting from the top down.
