Pros

Pay, that's about it there.

Cons

Would never again in my life. Little to no insurance for on-site employees.

Pros

I like working with Adara because they don’t constantly buy and sell properties, they hold onto them long term. It creates more stability for both the team and the residents. It also shows they care about building and improving their communities over time, not just making decisions for short term gain.

Cons

The downsides of working with Adara are that the company feels very old fashioned and cost focused. Compared to other companies I’ve worked for, they tend to be behind the times and reluctant to invest in resources or improvements. For example, leasing agents are expected to clean apartments, not a touch up, but clean, which takes away from our primary role of being in the office and leasing. There’s also a strong sense of micromanagement. There are cameras throughout the office, and it often feels like employees are being closely watched, which creates a tense environment where it’s hard to feel comfortable or natural at work. The culture is very strict and not laid back. Benefits are limited, and overall it doesn’t feel very employee focused. On top of that, basic things like maintaining comfortable temperatures in the office and show units aren’t always prioritized, which can make the work environment challenging, especially going into the summer. Additionally, communication can be difficult at the management level. Feedback isn’t always well received, and it can feel like concerns or suggestions create tension rather than open discussion, which makes the work environment uncomfortable at times.
