Pros

The only pro was getting out of here alive.

Cons

Borderline fraud. Zero Investment processes. High fees. Misleading sales process. Senior partners constantly making statements that are untrue, mocking the SEC, and the stupidity of their own clients. Leadership is nonexistent. Most senior leaders are not present, only show up to deride their employees or force them to listen to their music group. No time spent discussing actual business matters. Still operating as if we were in the 80s, paper trading tickets, arcane processes and dino employees that probably can't turn on their computers without assistance. The place is a few strings away from complete collapse but you'd think everyone was pooping rainbows and unicorns.

Private equity jeopardy within the company!

Pros

Encouraging relationship I formed with my colleagues, who were dedicated professionals and provided a sense of camaraderie within the team.

Cons

The acquisition of Adviser by a private equity firm and the subsequent introduction of a C-suite lacking industry understanding have resulted in a significant decline in the company's acquired counterpart, Polaris, which were once excellent companies before the management changes took place. Current employees face limited career advancement prospects, as the company favors hiring external individuals who are former colleagues or acquaintances of the CEO, neglecting internal talent. I could not take thing TOXIC environment and will NOT recommend anyone here!

We respectfully disagree with your characterization of the leadership team, which collectively has more than 125 years of experience in the financial services industry, including RIA, and expertise in transforming, growing, and professionalizing organizations with a client-first focus. We recognize that not all employees thrive in this environment, and we wish you success in the next step of your career.

The Management Will Simply Avoid or Ignore You

Pros

I have not seen or experienced anything positive. The management treated everyone poorly and made them feel unwelcome all the time!

Cons

Do you want to work for a company where you have no value? If not, you better stay away from Adviser. The management is awful and terrible. They have an arrogant attitude and are 100% fake and evil human beings. They ignore/avoid employees and don't pay attention to employee needs or demands. They pretend that you don't even exist for them. It was ridiculous!

While we’re disappointed that you didn’t enjoy your time at Adviser, we appreciate your feedback. We’ve welcomed an entirely new leadership team over the past year, and they are laser-focused on getting to know our team better both personally and professionally through ‘ask me anything’ forums, office visits, team meetings, and more.
