      Lacking Clear Leadership

      Pros

      Most of the people I work with are amazing. The entire company is fully remote and the work-life balance is great.

      Cons

      The leadership team cannot settle on a clear direction and priorities change all the time which makes it feels as if there is no one steering the ship. The company is young and has already had a several layoffs/eliminated positions. Employee concerns about lack of vision are ignored and brushed under the rug.

      Great ideas aren't overcome by bad management

      Pros

      During my time I had decent work-life balance and worked with some good people on what should be exciting technology. Pay was good though benefits were lacking compared to the market offering.

      Cons

      Cutting to the chase, bad leadership. The company laid off about a third of its staff due to bad financials and are pivoting completely to new technology. This isn't the first pivot and it's indicative of good ideas poorly implemented. Until the company proves they can have long term financial stability there's no way I could recommend taking a position here.
