Pros

Having worked for a few previous firms as a recruiter, I was shocked when I got to Agile and saw how a company SHOULD treat its employees. Training is extensive and very knowledgeable, and management is always there for you no matter what. You can make great money here as the commission plan is great, plus opportunities for bonuses. We have remote days and flex hours. The culture and team is very collaborative and we have each other's backs. Lots of room for growth as well, especially as we expand into new markets.

Cons

Just that they don't do salary reviews/increases yearly like some companies do, but we make enough in commission that it offsets. Absolutely nothing negative to say about Agile's processes and team.

Pros

Agile offers a flexible schedule that allows for a work life balance. I worked remotely the entire time and for those that are on site in Atlanta they go on site two days a week. I had two events that were on site with my team which I enjoyed. I enjoyed working with my team and the recruiters have wonderful personalities. That said, those who stick around at this company are of a certain demographic. Most, if not all, of leadership is male and there is little diversity among the entire team. I encourage anyone interested in applying to take a look at the company website, specifically the “Our Team” section. The clients that they work with openly discriminate which makes finding candidates that clients want to see significantly more difficult. It is not uncommon for account managers to say they are looking for someone who is “named Chad and plays corn hole on the weekends” or “somebody with the name Matt or Josh.” Essentially alluding to the type of candidate that the client is looking for. These things were said in meetings with 20 or more of us on a call. It was not uncommon and was done openly/without shame. One time I emailed HR and my boss to bring to light some issues and concerns I had. The email was never once acknowledge or responded to by either of them. However, I know my email was seen and passed upwards, as someone in upper management (who was not copied on that email and was sent without my knowledge) brushed over it on a call. When I decided to leave, I had a handful of PTO days remaining which they did not pay me for. You will receive your commission for your candidates that you have on contract sporadically. It is random and inconsistent. You will need to budget your expenses based on your base salary, which is quite low. For your permanent placements, you are lucky to see that commission paid at 3 or 4 months after the candidate starts. It’s not uncommon for it to take up to 8 months for a perm commission check to be paid. If you are an experienced recruiter, have an outgoing personality and not easily offended by off-handed jokes/discriminatory comments, this is probably a good place for you. Just make sure you keep your performance up. They will tell you time and time again that they are not a “death by metrics" company. That is simply not true. You always need to meet the metrics even when they are saying it's not a big deal. It is. I was told time and time again that it didn't matter and to not stress myself on meeting the metric every week. It matters.

Cons

Discriminatory, lack of diversity, fraternity-like environment

Pros

High earning potential. You really get what you give in this job.

Cons

Company has changed rapidly over the last year or so and it feels like we’ve bitten off more than we can chew. More focus on acquiring companies than on employee satisfaction. Management has taken away benefits one by one from employees. Benefits are terrible and expensive, commission plan isn’t good anymore now that they have decided to take more commission out of producers pockets to go to the company. They don’t give raises and haven’t given raises to some in over 3+ years even with inflation. Teams are held to completely different standards. Some are allowed to be fully remote others aren’t. Some employees get special treatment. There’s just no consistency.
