Airbase is a churn and burn. Very few employees have been in their positions longer than a few months, if that; that is not because this is a start-up, that is because people either run ASAP or get fired. There is no internal self-reflection. The positive reviews here are because the company asks for them directly; the majority of the company is outsourced to India and the Philippines; perhaps its a good place to work in those countries, but compared to most Western jobs, this company is awful. The company also prides itself on being "cheap" and even says that "this is not a place you work if you're here for money or benefits". The culture reflects that in that there is no pride in anyone's work and everyone is walking on eggshells, waiting for the axe. People are axed so frequently that it is impossible to complete a project because they disappear mid-week, mid-day. As a consequence of the constant turnover, the numbers and expectations are very high and nearly impossible to hit, because you never have the team, support or resources you need to hit them, and thus, everyone is running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Not to mention, the future of the product, which is bleak.
