      Horrible company, stay away

      Pros

      They can DO Green Card filling, but on your own expense!

      Cons

      1. Poland based company; 2. No Loyalty to productive, long term employees; 3. Company does not reward hard working employees with laterally promotion opportunities; 4. Low Pay (False promises: no insurance, no benefits, no profit sharing, no 401K match), compensation is significantly less than market, usually by 25 - 40%; Almost non-existent bonus program for employees; 5. Management tends to overload assignment of jobs and likes to set unfair expectations; 6. The company is continually looking to cut costs - owner brings uncertainty of long term plans, cut backs in compensation packages; 7. Management's competitive strategy is blinded.

      The technical team is bright

      Cons

      The company is very small and privately owned. The owner has a technical background and lacks business acumen. The compensation structure is not aligned with the industry. It is EXTREMELY low!

      Pros

      Working at Aldec gives you experience in the EDA industry to work for a more stable and better EDA company. This is not a great place to end up, but is only a great place to start and get exposed.

      Cons

      - Management has changed over the last 6 months, which led to a majority of the team leaving or being let go - Key management guys were never replaced - causing confusion for everyone in the office. - Engineers reported low salaries, sales team commission was nothing too special. Everyone relied on hitting a quarter goal, but how can you do that with an absent sales team. - Major decisions about companies future isn't shared - Engineers have left for other EDA companies looking for better opportunities - No respect for the sales team, pretty much a telemarketing job.
