Pros

Fantastic brand and products for government

Cons

Limitless The picture painted during your interview will be the biggest lie ever. The industry is so small that everyone knows what is going on in this company even if attempts to cover up are made. Each single department has 1 person who is a favourite of the MDs. The lack of foresight and understanding of ground sentiment is ridiculous. When an entire company can see problems between staff and politics being played out it is beyond words how the MDs try to cover it up and still paint a good picture to everyone. You are treated like a kid who does know anything. The entire industry knows how the entire spex team has resigned leaving just the one spex head standing. Constant stealing of deals and no action by management to stop this will lead to even more people leaving. Talent is never recognised. People who spend hours at work and even home to improve processes and make things more efficient are never given credit. Appraisals and reviews are only done when the boat gets rocky. Commissions are never paid on time and there will always be disputes and structures changed. There will never be a calendar year gone by where you receive your salary late. Even reimbursements take forever. And if you chase for it management snaps. One of the MDs even shouts and loses his temper at staff and justifies it by saying that he has the right to. That has led to many women actually crying out of fear and panic. They try to constantly recruit people who are fresh and impressionable. And paint them the nicest picture ever. They recruit experienced people by promising what they have heard is absolutely false. If you stay long at this company the only benefit would be that you have learnt about is the absolute will power you have within. There are still loads of things wrong in this company and one only needs to speak to ex staff to get an even more shocking picture.

Pros

Nice colleagues Near the MRT You get paid if you are lucky

Cons

This company frequently delay paying staff, hotels and speakers. Management lies about when people will be paid, then keeps delaying payment causing embarrassment for the staff who have to tell the bad news to the people owed. Also if staff are not paid, it feels like being cheated by the person you are working for. They also don't pay reimbursements to government representatives who they promise to pay. This means that staff receives emails and phone calls from angry people from government from around the world, who are owed money but are not paid. This sometimes goes on for more than a year! The office is full of ants everywhere The toilets are disgusting You won't get paid your commission Do not work in sales, you will not last long. If you are told things about it being a good work environment with opportunities and large possible commissions, do not listen. No training No chance for promotion If you join this company, you'll be part of an immoral business that defrauds everyone it does business with, including it's own staff Only join this company if you are desperate. If you are really thinking of joining, speak to other existing or past staff in private. There are good and bad companies out there, this one is bad and everyone there wants to leave.

Pros

The friendship I made & the product FutureGov is something many players are itching to replicate

Cons

Where do I even begin? The company had a great ride of success until the new MD came where things got a little chaotic and far from organized (it was never before but things were improving slightly). There was a closed knit team dynamic and it was enjoyable working for a small startup (frankly to many graduates & execs that is WHY we choose to work in a small company, the freedom, the fun). Anyway this is supposed to be the part about CONS - I suppose the new MD had all these plans & ideas however great a plan sounds like at the end of the day, not everyone has a great business acumen and he has made many foolish decisions for the company - multiple offices only to have them shut in a blink of an eye, excessive spending. The whole place has become far from what it used to be, the events company to work for to the events company with the notorious title of delaying payments to vendors & staffs.
