Pros

Can be nice when not so busy, little micromanagement

Cons

Expected to work 24+ hour shifts while on-call. Underpaid for the amount of work expected. Poor management and a very high turnover rate. No over time pay.

Pros

Manager does what he can to help. Great benefits. Most coworkers are great.

Cons

High turnover so they keep guys that shouldn’t be in the industry. Will work you extremely hard and long hours. I have seen up to 60 hours before relief gets to you. 15/6 rotation that rarely happens. Days off come with the catch that you can be called in. Some guys have not seen 6 days off in months.
