Pros

This company has potential to be bought out by huge company like Amazon if they pursue the Cannabis Industry -You’re on your own most of the time, which I Love, no one to bother you. -Driving around everywhere learn the ways around LA/SFV/Lower OC - Company Discount -Benefits if you want them -Paid Mileage (But needs to be raised so thats kinda a con for me) -Flexible Schedules For Sure -Tips are nice when you stack them for the week it adds a hefty amount to your pay. -The people who work here are great, management is easy to talk to if needed.

Cons

-Pay is not on par with the amount of work/hassles drivers deal with -If you apply for Full time you never really get your full 40 hours per week. On Average it’s around 30-37 -Mileage pay needs to be raised as well, we drive long and far for some customers. -You are being recorded while driving with their dashcams -Very unorganized when it comes to giving back to drivers, with lots of false promises that are only kept for like a month tops

Pros

I came from a well established company before joining Amuse, and I was very impressed with the organization and culture for a company so young. The people, methodologies and technology utilized here is very progressive for a company that began in August 2020 (during Covid of all times too). I'm able to expand outside of my role to learn and help manage other areas of the company, which is both a challenge and a breath of fresh air.

Cons

The regulations and legalities surrounding the cannabis industry make all of our jobs a bit harder. Priorities can change quickly, impacting various team's work but that's expected given the hyper growth stage of this company.

Pros

Well funded, competitive pay, an opportunity to get your feet wet in the retail cannabis delivery space, very grassroots company culture.

Cons

Poor company/management structure. Poor hiring process results in risky over-hiring underqualified personnel, and under-investing into essential technology. Management takes credit for successes instead of attributing to employees. "Grind" type work - no real opportunity to learn or advance (if you already have experience). Company is not growing at the same rate they are promising their employees. Questionable trajectory. We also let a ton of people go / people left who were good employees, not because they weren't good at their jobs, but because they didn't get along with senior management.
