      Pros

      Firm has tight inner circle but you are either "in" or "out" so this can also be a con.

      Cons

      Firm management is splintered geographically and philosophically. Each office is run by a different partner with different expectations and styles. The Walnut Creek office is very loosely run and not very collegial or professional. Favoritism towards friends of the partner is readily apparent in the workplace and causes friction amongst staff.
