      Great technology, little context

      Pros

      Smart people, great product, a true technology heavy business.

      Cons

      Lack of culture, lack of context on how the technology can impact the industry. Heavy ex-consultancy employee base - Appnexus believe that companies buy technology meritocratically - when the reality is there's a lot more complexity/moving parts than this.

      Horrible place for experienced software engineers

      Pros

      Relaxing, flexible hours. Can always work from home when needed. Not much pressure, fun place to hang out

      Cons

      middle management sucks like hell, some of the managers possess no integrity and don't care about you promises fall through not enough good experienced engineers no good process for building quality/mature software stock option is a joke compared to other companies if you are an experienced engineer looking for more/better experience, don't come here. Be warned! if you are a fresh grad, it's okay to come here to get some experience.
