I worked at AppleOne full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The best reason to work for AppleOne is if there are absolutely no other opportunities out there for you to get started in a career. It’s a good STEPPING STONE, but you’re silly if you stay there past 2 years. And if one girl doesn’t like you, they’ll force you to quit by bullying and belittling you (I say girl because they all act like little girls AND they don’t typically employ men. There’s one there right now).

    Cons

The downsides of working internally at AppleOne include: poor management, full of fake staff, no growth, fake scripts, discrimination like no other, and lack of training/resources/equipment. To elaborate, management doesn’t help you advance or train you because the majority of managers are friends of the lady who has been there for 15+ years. They have no staffing experience and get jobs solely based on being a friend of a lady with the most tenure (even though the job descriptions REQUIRE staffing experience). Since they come in with zero experience, they have no clue how to train others. The company also has fake, condescending scripts to “coach” internal staff. They can also fire you at any given moment yet they expect you to fill out a full two weeks if you find a better opportunity (which you will surely find a better opportunity). They’ll act like you never existed once you put your notice in (in a very childish way). The onboarding process is INSANE. They make every person complete it even after they discuss that they KNOW you will never be employed there. They waste your time to use your references and previous places of employment to gain business for THEMSELVES. Also, if you’re currently employed and your current boss doesn’t know you’re searching, they WILL call your boss for a reference EVEN IF YOU ASK THEM NOT TO. The amount of times they have discriminated against people of color and because of their age is sickening. Makes it HARD to work there so you just quit (like me). I also quit because they leave people’s social security numbers on their desks. Once, they asked staff to take photos of people’s drivers licenses and SSNs on their PERSONAL PHONES to run I-9s!!! ILLEGAL!!! The place is seriously a joke, and I don’t know how it’s legal. It’s almost a pyramid scheme. I feel sick I even worked there. After you quit, you’ll be ignored and receive condescending remarks from MANAGERS who were supposed to support you and want what’s best for you. Don’t let them fool you because they’ll make it seem like you have tons of growth opportunity (they even have a sales program for new hires), but the reality is that all you’ll ever be is someone calling other people to find them a job just to make pennies on the dollar. You help employ others yet you make little to no money with poor benefits. Pay, culture, and management really are terrible. Really just a place to get your foot in the door if you absolutely cannot find another job. The temp employees that AppleOne place themselves have BETTER benefits than their actual internal staff!!! I could write a book with all the horror stories I could tell while working here. Management also make condescending remarks about millennials yet that’s the majority of the people they find to help keep the place running since the turnover rate is ASTRONOMICAL. One year, I bet only 15 people lasted the entire year out of the 80 that were hired/fired/quit. Please consider working elsewhere. Mentally, you will NOT regret it.

I worked at AppleOne part-time for more than a year

    Pros

    You can find temporary jobs.

    Cons

Very simple jobs that pay minimum wage. I had to call and beg the representatives to find me assignments. It takes them months to get back to you even if you call back often to reach out for status. I felt like they don't care about their employees unless you start making them money, since they keep a percentage of what you make.
