Pros

Absoultly none that I can say. It was quite horrible.

Cons

Vindictive, hostile work environment, micromanaging, rude owners, they mistreat the children.

Pros

Seeing the clients grow and learn skills.

Cons

There is a high turn over rate and getting emails about new policies are put into place on a bi-weekly or weekly basis. If you have an excused absence with a doctors note you will get written up. It takes weeks to get something resolved through the office and you never know who you are emailing. The clinic director plays favoritism and will talk to staff about how they feel about you. It’s mandatory for you to know things about staff meetings however, they will not pay you and would rather you watch the meeting while you are having sessions with your client. BCaBA's are still contractors. If a child falls asleep in the center you are to stay with them even if you cannot bill. After your first week there, they just throw you in with the client and you are on your own if the BCBA isn't available. I would stay away at all costs. Texting outside business hours and even very late hours (12am.) The clinic "playroom" always smells and is used for potty training. Their benefits are a joke and are reimbursement based and barely cover anything. They put their monetary greed before the clients.

Pros

Flexibility Space Some of the RBTs are wonderful!

Cons

No support from administration or clinic directors High turnover rate in admin Benefits aren't that great PTO is minimal No defined procedures but reprimands when you don't "follow procedures" Every man for himself BCBAs don't provide support to RBTs (was an RBT first) Staff don't clean up after themselves Pay is not even remotely competitive to what you'd make elsewhere Must use your own tech (phone, laptop, tablet, etc.) Nothing provided $$ preferred over client success
