Pros

- Comprehensive and competitive benefits package - Casual attire - Perks include free lunches (two to three times days/nights per week) - Manageability of positive work-life balance - Clean and organized work space

Cons

-Apparent complacency of long standing employees and executives - particularly those that have reached or exceeded their peak earning and professional development years -Similarly old school management style -Still trailing behind innovative and progressive cultural curve of other tech-related companies

Good for starting out

Pros

Relaxed environment, dress casual. Company is expanding, so there are promotion opportunities. Work from home/telecommuting are options. Free coffee/tea, and continental breakfasts twice a week are nice perks. Will pay tuition for job-related coursework taken while an employee.

Cons

Shift work - pulling early mornings, weekends, holidays can wear people out. If you're looking to eventually work outside of marine weather routing, then there's limited skill transfer, since most work is done on the internal software system. Work can become monotonous. Pay's not that great. Employee training can be harsh and degrading (in the wrong hands).
