With this job market, working at Arqule bringing home a paycheck is better than being jobless.
Cons
Factors other than hardworking were weighed. Very bad working environment and culture. I worked there for about two years and felt stressful everyday. Some manager's opinions superseded scientific rationales.
Flexible work schedule with minimal managerial oversight. Traditionally, there has been a great pool of people to work with. Location north of Boston is desirable and works well into work life balance.
Cons
Underpay and under value key G&A positions. Solely focused on scientists and upper management. Key positions in upper management have been there a long time so not much has changed.
A lot of work. Even coffee is not free. Both employees and the company have no future there. Horrible leadership. There is a big building, but only a small space for working.
