Great company, great culture, and great pay/benefits

Pros

What can I say about this company other than it has truly opened my eyes as to what kind of corporate jobs are out there, and corporate does not have to be toxic. It has showed me that working in a fast paced industry, with people that support you and want to see you propel in your career - fundamentally changes your trajectory. The people culture is absolutely amazing, it feels like one big family at times and they embody an environment where you can be transparent and heard - without the fear of failure. All I can say is if you're thinking about taking a job here - do not spend too long thinking, take the leap and you'll do wonders for your work life. Oh and that reminds me, the work life balance is amazing! It actually exists - they are a need to have product and a business building with fast momentum, yet they do not overwork their employees and push you to burn out.

Cons

Honestly the only con would be that things are changing somewhat but not necessarily for the worst. It's just a worry in case it damages people culture because that is what makes the job so great to be at.

Mixed culture with low morale and direction issues

Pros

People are generally nice, although morale is a little low at the moment because of all the ongoing restructuring. Great place for entry level/freshers to start their career, or for mid-career switches for an easy switch to a not so intensive workload. Despite the lack of other benefits, company insurance has improved over the past few years. Culture can be good but it is very dependent on your team, can be an absolute nightmare otherwise.

Cons

Company seems to have lost its direction for now and is opting to hire as many people from competitors as possible for a ‘fresh perspective’. This has led to many people who have been here for years up to even more than a decade to be terrified to lose their jobs and are spending more time performing for management to protect their jobs than actually focusing on being competent managers or on what they’re actually paid to do. Company functions extremely reactively and the first instinct is usually to assign blame rather than fix the problem, after which the default solution seems to be just to follow what the competitors are doing. Older employees vary to different degrees, with most not willing to adapt to changes like AI or even to just put in more effort in engaging with clients. Others mostly spend their days performing and claiming credit for their team’s work, when functionally they do not really have any jobs that bring in value for the company.
