Pros

Some people friendly; mostly professional environment; decent office building & area. I don't have to commute too far. Ascom Network Testing is #1 globally for network testing products.

Cons

Management not friendly with non-management employees, pay is sub-standard, budget cuts, layoffs have created a lackluster environment - employees working harder but for less, with no raises and no bonuses for 2013. Telecommunications industry continues to struggle.

Pros

Staff benefits is great. Medical coverage includes immediate family. Parking allowance and additional epf contributions from employer with t&c. Referrals fees for R & D staff is extremely high. Remember to share some portion of the fee if introduce by ascom R & D staff.

Cons

Working culture has changed drastically since founder of KL R & D site has left last year. Work life balance is no longer the main theme for new management. Working late and long duration is expected. Micro management and favouritism becomes common practice in the new organization.
