Pros
The working teams are very nice people but often afraid to speak up because they are afraid of reprisal. Conversations are easy with working teams. The technology the org has is next level but people are too afraid to try anything new. Leadership on a surface level encourages it but as soon as you do try something or voice an idea, you’re in front of a firing squad from the leadership.
Cons
Stagwell and Assembly leadership are very toxic, cliquish and will cut you off mid-sentence. They say to be yourself and bring your whole self to work, but it’s a bit of a trap. You are not free to experiment with new methods or ideas because if your experiment fails, you will pay the price and face excessive criticism. SG Stagwell and Assembly Leadership also fail to take responsibility for service failure to clients. There is always an excuse or a lower team member lifted up as a sacrifice. If you voice your opinion in a meeting or brainstorm, you will get reprisals from leadership. They take your opinion as a direct attack if it does not agree with their own, as if it is a threat to their power. Certain leaders also do not work, but rather are consumed in fancy lunches, events, networking.
