      Awful place, with a few good pockets.

      Pros

      Large organisation, lots of money to spend, people are dedicated to making things great for Auckland. Offices are nice and facilities are great.

      Cons

      Management have no clue, the business units are fragmented and in silos, management are all 'mates' that look after each other OR bitter rivals that snipe. No cohesive teamwork and no structure to their approach.

      A diverse array of colleagues who were very committed to their work and making life better in Auckland for everyone.

      Cons

      Having to contend with a rigid management hierarchy while absorbing endless disingenuous platitudes about a high-trust, high-performance workplace. An endless series of costly and questionable staff restructures leveling blow after blow to continuity, staff morale, productivity, and customer service. A 1950's era mindset about management and staff relationships.
