Pros

-They'll pay you on time.

Cons

-Wife of the CEO is the Director of Sales - from what I gathered she has zero or minimal experience in managing a sales team - nepotism is a credential here -No HR department - their "HR" is a student or the CFO (who's son also works there - go figure) so cannot escalate issues -Product is a laggard and sells on price. A lot of competition in the space that they cannot keep up with - so expect to drop your pants on deals. -Seems to be zero roadmap, and so its on the items that are prioritized based on feedback from existing partners on what should be "doubled down on". For a company that wants to grow - they don't really reflect on what is going to push the needle vs. fixes that are a 'nice to have' -Feedback is discouraged unless its positive - shouldn't play Devils Advocate on anything -OTE for sales is a pipe dream at best.

Pros

The work remote flexibility is nice

Cons

Management and staff changed frequently. Most people I worked with during my time were delightful, but one particular manager was patronizing and condescending. From seeing LinkedIn, I see they are no longer with the organization so maybe it is better now. Additionally, there was an excess of meetings that didn't contribute to our day to day very much.

Cons

Before I begin, it is important to note that I am providing an honest and objective review based on the information provided. It is crucial to consider multiple sources, including employee testimonials, to form a well-rounded understanding of the work environment. While there may be positive aspects to working at this company, it is equally important to acknowledge some of the concerns and drawbacks that employees have expressed. Here are the cons associated with working for this company: Lack of Creativity and Autonomy: One common complaint among employees is the limited opportunity for creativity and utilizing individual abilities. The company's approach seems to be more focused on strict adherence to predefined processes and instructions, leaving little room for employees to showcase their creativity and innovative ideas. Condescending and Unprofessional Communication: Employees have mentioned that the communication style within the company can be condescending and unprofessional. Being told what to do, how to do it, and when to do it is a normal part of any work environment, however, when the instructions are delivered in a disrespectful or demeaning manner, it can create a negative and demoralizing atmosphere. Nepotism and Toxic Environment: The presence of nepotism within the management structure, where spouse of the CEO holds a position of authority, has lead to an uncomfortable and toxic work environment. Such situations may give rise to perceived favouritism, conflicts of interest, and hinder professional growth opportunities for other employees. Absence of HR Department: The lack of an HR department can be concerning for employees facing issues or conflicts within the company. Without a designated HR department, it becomes challenging to escalate concerns and seek unbiased resolutions. Employees may feel hesitant to voice their grievances, fearing potential repercussions or a lack of appropriate channels for resolution. Frequent Sales Meetings: Employees have expressed dissatisfaction with the frequency of sales meetings, which often turn into forecast meetings. Having three to five meetings per week can be time-consuming and impact productivity, especially if the discussions and outcomes do not provide significant value or tangible benefits to employees. In conclusion, it is essential for prospective employees to carefully consider the cons mentioned above when evaluating whether this company aligns with their expectations and career goals. It is advisable to gather additional information and insights from current and former employees to form a comprehensive understanding of the work environment before making any decisions.
