Pros
When I first started Automata it was filled with people who were there for the journey, the vision, and had the ambition to do great things. Over the years the company grew from a small tight-knit company to a much larger entity with middle management and drama. One the pros, the benefits, compensation, and the freedom to perform were all there. Not once was I ever told the hours I worked, the location I had to be in, or some other nonsense. Largely, if you performed well, you were trusted to continue doing so. There are still a lot of talented people there and the ones that left have continued to do great things.
Cons
On the cons, I'm not sure how it happened but complaining is chronic and the culture took a significant hit at one point because of it. The leadership has slowly churned in a positive direction however it has some further development to undergo to strike the right balance.
