The legacy VWR teams seem to have the best outfit and processes sorted out, and it seems like merging with them could yield positive synergies.

Cons

The prevailing legacy Avantor forces are denying the combined company contributions and undermining the progress all of us could make (especially those by adopting the VWR models), by adopting unverified new business units to force-fit the industries. Alot of the existing clienteles are at risk with these unwarranted changes.

Handful of nice VWR colleagues helping each other out

Cons

Wear a mask all year around as this place is truly pandemic worthy. Incompetent leaders chilling in their ivory towers with great plans so they say (they think they have a plan but no) while associates get scrutinised by metrics, reporting and more reviews on every single activity. Let’s be honest here, VWR makes the money while Avantor leeches to reduce their debt, hence the “acquisition” Nice move New mountain.
