Pros

Good pay and benefits

Cons

Seriously lacks any sort of concrete plan- there has been 3 CEO's in as many years. Each wanting to reinvent the wheel. Also BCAA is not invested in their employees. They treat them as commodities and are quick to find ways to get rid of people. As a manager I was often instructed by senior management to " manage someone out". They act like ethics are of the utmost concern but people are usually treated terribly when they need support. They also have little concern for work life balance and expect their managers to work all the time and be available all the time. They will work you into the ground and if you finally push back they will just get rid of you

Pros

- Job security - Everything is structured

Cons

- Leadership approach from all the way atop is "if they dont like it they can leave" - HR is tone deaf and disconnected with reality of the organization. When asked what BCAA is doing to retain top talent and employee engagement, their answer was "We got you everyone a meditation app!" Is this real life? Leadership team also think presenting attrition data in a misleading way is acceptable and think employees are none the wiser - Salary doesn't keep up with inflation let alone the competition - Benefits is subpar and you have to pay a portion of it yourself and BCAA is convinced this is industry leading Theres some really awful things that happen in this organization same as any other. The only difference with BCAA is that they pretend they're not the same.
