Pros

Maybe the annual leave is considered okay for entry level.

Cons

- employee shows no respect to female colleagues and s*xist remarks are very common from an employee. management does nothing to address issue (maybe because they have 0 clue what is going on) - employee goes around spreading things about other employees and causing distrust between colleagues in the team - environment is not ideal and people would rather protect peace than to stand up for themselves. - generally a bad place to work for female employees

Pros

No real benefits at all, apart from occasional festival dinners and team bonding activities.

Cons

I’m currently working here, and it’s honestly one of the most frustrating environments I’ve been in. Management consistently protects senior engineers no matter how they behave, while junior staff are brushed aside. Feedback from juniors goes nowhere, and raising concerns feels pointless because nothing ever changes. What’s especially troubling is how serious issues are handled. There have been complaints about a senior engineer acting inappropriately toward junior staff, and management did nothing meaningful about it, no warning letter, no consequences, nothing. It makes it pretty clear where their priorities are, and it’s not the safety or dignity of the team. On top of that, a senior engineer openly criticized junior employee regarding non work-related stuff in front of the team behind the junior’s back. It was completely unprofessional and unnecessary, yet again, management did nothing. Situations like this just reinforce the same pattern—senior staff can do whatever they want, and juniors are expected to just take it. Day to day, management shows little regard for employee wellbeing. Work just keeps getting piled on. It feels like leadership only cares about pushing projects and chasing recognition, not about the people doing the work. Morale is low, and trust in management is basically nonexistent. Hard to recommend staying unless you’re okay with being ignored and overworked.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience at BMM has left you feeling unsupported. At BMM, we value every employee, regardless of title or seniority level. Junior employees play an important role in our company and in BMM’s future, and we are committed to listening to employee concerns, supporting staff well-being, and holding all team members accountable to the same professional standards and expectations. While we cannot comment publicly on confidential personnel matters, we want to be clear that the concerns raised were formally reviewed through an internal investigation process, and appropriate action was taken in accordance with company policy. BMM does not tolerate harassment, retaliation, inappropriate workplace behavior, or conduct that undermines a respectful and professional work environment. We also recognize the important role leadership and management play in fostering open communication, accountability, and employee trust across teams. In the case of the issues that you have raised, management did take action, but because of employee confidentiality, we cannot share. Our BMM local and global management and leadership teams care very much about the employee experience here, and it is something we are working to improve every day. We continue to invest in strengthening communication, management practices, and employee support systems in Singapore and across our global offices. We appreciate your feedback and thank you for your contributions to BMM. We hope you stay and help us continue to grow the company together.

Pros

- The job itself will not get boring

Cons

Management protects senior staff while juniors who raise issues get ignored or dismissed. Victim-blaming culture, concerns are minimised instead of getting addressed. No confidentiality. Even when discretion is requested, issues get shared within the entire team. Inappropriate behaviour (including remarks about female employees) dismissed with no formal disciplinary actions, only verbal warning. If you report a senior, don't expect to be heard (even after multiple harassment complaints against him). Pay is not competitive at all. 1% increment in 2025 with "bonus" that is less than GSTV in SG. Technical skills and software learned in this company is barely transferrable unless you want to stay in the gaming industry for the rest of your life

Thank you for sharing your perspective. We are concerned by the experiences described in your review and appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback. BMM’s management team is committed to supporting employees and addressing workplace concerns promptly, fairly, and thoughtfully. We take allegations involving workplace conduct, confidentiality, employee treatment, or policy violations extremely seriously. Following the concerns raised, the company conducted a thorough internal review. While we are unable to disclose confidential employment details, corrective and disciplinary actions were taken consistent with company policies and procedures. BMM does not condone harassment, retaliation, victim-blaming, inappropriate comments, or breaches of confidentiality. We are committed to creating a workplace culture where employees feel respected, supported, and comfortable raising concerns without fear of retaliation or being dismissed. We recognize that maintaining employee trust and a positive workplace culture requires continuous effort, accountability, and communication at all levels of the organization, and we remain committed to ongoing improvement. As for the matter of compensation, we understand that compensation, bonuses, and career development opportunities are important factors in the overall employee experience, and we appreciate you taking the time to provide your perspective. BMM regularly reviews compensation practices within the markets and industries in which we operate, while also balancing business performance, local conditions, and long-term organizational growth. We recognize that employees may have different expectations regarding salary progression and bonus structures, and we continue to evaluate how we can remain competitive and support employee retention and development. We would also respectfully disagree with the characterization that the technical skills developed at BMM are not transferable. Our employees work in a highly specialized, globally regulated technology environment involving software testing, cybersecurity, compliance, systems integration, quality assurance, and emerging gaming technologies. Many of these technical, analytical, and regulatory skill sets are valuable across broader technology, cybersecurity, compliance, and regulated-industry sectors. Thank you again for your comments and for your time with the company.
