Pros

The fact that I have a job and I'm refining my computer and customer service skills. The benefits were really good and would grow as the company grew.

Cons

The title speaks for it's self. The company would make more and more money each year and sometimes double it's revenue and I would only get the standard, expected minimal raise each year to increase my already underpaid amount. I don't think anyone who works there feels they get paid anywhere near what their title average is worth let alone what they feel they're worth. the benefits are great but didn't make up for my lousy pay. upper management didn't treat me like the human being that am, but rather like the money generating robot they perceived me to be. The CEO is a liar. He has told me whatever he thought I wanted to hear just to keep me working hard but never fulfills any of his promises. Based on my opinion and experiences, this company was run on a punishment system instead of a reward system, so there was no incentive to work hard, only the fear of reprisal. BQE constantly posted fake reviews about their products and company on all sorts of websites and even persuades their employees to write positive reviews as well. I refused to partake in that type of dishonesty. Be careful of the overwhelmingly positive reviews on here. they're most likely from the CEO or the CCO. Working for BQE will likely create psychological problems for you down the line and sexual harassment has happened on more than 2 occasions in the past. They have had several law suits against them. Its not worth it working here. This review is honest and fair and is purely a matter of my personal opinion based on my personal experiences at BQE Software. I am exercising the first amendment to free speech in writing this review.

Exploitation at its best

Pros

If you have to stay in Kashmir and have no other option, then go for it. And yeah, be ready to be exploited. No other pros though.

Cons

1. Weak Management. 2. Weak Team leaders. A group of non technical or diploma holders managing and running a team of highly qualified post graduate employees. 3. Least ethical values. 4. No extra time and they make you sit night and day during the development cycle while giving you rotten, tasteless food. 5. Starting salary is peanuts. Increment makes your salary a bigger peanut. But it remains a peanut, nonetheless. 6. Verbal task assignments. 7. You'll never be judged upon your accomplishments but only on your mistakes. Good work never instigates praise. But a single mistake instigates wrath. 8. Appraisals are not based on performance. Because there are no performance criteria. Because managers and team leaders have no idea what performance criteria is. 9. Professionalism is absolutely absent in BQE. You've to append "saeb with the first name of the diploma seniors or they'll get offended. If you mistakenly forget to shake hands of any seniors, they'll get offended. If you've any idea and mistakenly say that idea, they'll get offended. 10. The first impression when the manager speaks to you in a fake American/British/Indian accent is that it'd be wonderful company to work with. But in minutes, you realize that the glimmer of hope you had for a mere ten seconds is just an illusion. He begins to talk about the central heating system, Air conditioners installed and the dirty smelly beds they have. 11. Timings for every person in the office is from 9 to 6. But for senior employees this doesn't apply. They can come at 11 and leave at 5 and no finger is raised. And when you are 5 minutes late to the office, you are brought into the conference room for some advice on professionalism. 12. There are a number of other things which I might add later.

Pros

Parties and activities to divert the attention of poor employees

Cons

You know you are working in a wrong company when your managing director parks his car worth 2.5 million INR in front of the entrance gate so that he could show off his luxury to poor employees who are paid less than the average salary. The company hired many people with good financial background so that he can cover up the discrimination done. The company hires highly experienced engineers at standard freshers salary who just had to accept the offer due to litlle job opportunities in Kashmir. The company spends a lot on infrastructure but when it comes to investing in employees , they turn a blind eye to that
