A mixed bag

Pros

Friendly coworkers, supportive boss, flexibility, mostly interesting work, good health benefits

Cons

Low salary, lack of cohesion, basically did five jobs but was listed and compensated for one. Backstage's parent company, Cast & Crew, has no idea what anyone at my company does and laid me and a few others on my team off with no forewarning. The severance package is the worst I've ever received, and the HR team has been an absolute nightmare to work with.

Pros

I love the freedom to work remotely + the trust that my company gives me to work on projects. I get to live anywhere in the country and if you live in an area where there are other company employees, we make a diligent effort to get together several times a year which helps make me feel more connected to other departments.

Cons

The remote work can also be a con at times. I love human interaction so there are many days where it would be nice to be in person with my coworkers.

Pros

Job is very straightforward, all remote work, work/life balance is respected.

Cons

Recent acquisitions and being acquired by a larger, more kind of old school company have changed the way some things run though all in all not too much.
