Decent place for entry level work hampered by questionable management
Pros
The company is pretty small, and 95% of the employees were pleasant to hang with. Sales were pretty good so there was no existential threat to the business at large. Decent enough place to get experience on your resume. Middle managers were all great people who have your back. They are an excellent source of knowledge.
Cons
Unless you're making big-bucks or there's a clear path to a higher paying position, Baltic Networks USA is a transitional company. Not many opportunities for career growth. Salary is on the lower end, and the raise structure is mostly a joke. Questionable management practices; One of the owners is a massive micromanager. Usually not a huge deal but would often insert themselves into matters outside of their expertise and create tension with managers and employees. Micromanaging owner would often expect us to "work late" for appearances. Would fail to appreciate when employees would start work early. Owners would allow unprofessional behavior and harassment from a specific employee to continue, as opposed to dealing with the issue firmly and directly. Retaliation against employees who would report issues.
