poor project management, short-term contracts are common and funding feels sparse, bullying from senior staff, feeling isolated is common and collaboration (for junior staff) within and between departments is rare.

- supervision process is a joke with absurd and arbitrary completion targets and little to no collaboration with competent student/staff - Highly toxic environment for students not supervised by senior staff - progess review teams do not have the necessary expertise to supervise project completion - teaching duties mostly disorganised. lecturers assemble teaching materials/datasets IN CLASS while undergrads wait - flood-level weather warnings and dire personal health concerns apparently not appropriate reasons for cancelling useless classes. undergraduates could easily cover material by themselves if adequate preparation went into teaching. - ceaseless emphasis on publication targets only to service supervisor's CV. Publication does NOT guarantee degree completion for students - please stop spreading this harmful message to students
