Pros
Ownership is accessible, lots of autonomy afforded to employees. Like being your own boss, but with support available when needed. If you excel at your work, you'll never have to deal with anybody; if you're flailing you'll hear about it.
Cons
Sometimes long hours. You don't get to choose the customers; most of them were there before you and will be there after you go.
