The kids are wonderful and you form lasting bonds with them. SOME of the staff is great.
Cons
Overworked, underpaid, and shady as hell. They do everything possible not to let you find out what other people make because it's completely arbitrary, rather than based on experience. They misappropriate funds and lie flat out to parents and staff alike. It's the best special ed school in the state, but that just goes to show how low the standards are. There's a high likelihood of you getting physically injured and also of getting burned out mentally. Do yourself a favor and don't work here.
