Pros

Can work from anywhere in the world

Cons

- Terrible holiday policy, no benefits or bonuses. Loss of talent because of cheapness and you will be replaced by someone cheaper if you get a salary increase - Lack of management, all talk and no action. Everything is sugar coated. Inexperienced people in charge of departments - Poor communication - Lack of productivity due to time zones - Input is often ignored Avoid working here, better off with a normal company

Dynamic Team Exchanges

Pros

I worked for Beautystreams for several years. I really enjoyed the flexible work conditions and the constant exchange between the different teams. It was great to be able to learn about content, even though my role was in sales.

Cons

Heavy workload especially during trade shows. However, I was always compensated with days off after trade shows.

Pros

At first the atmosphere seems down-to-earth, however there are no real pros. That is good for only the first 5 minutes until you realize what is really happening.

Cons

- Attitude issues from management members - attitude issues from marketing department; belittling; gossiping; with sole purpose to get rid of any possible new people - management promises for a bigger future; says contract is not important; delays signing of contract even upon asking several times - only says signing an NDA (Non-disclosure agreement) is needed. Yes, for them! - continues to usher work, push for work, no contract - can't stick to oral agreements, let alone physical proof of work; changes mind or detail of work - being asked personal questions, even after giving notices - marketing department treats people as inferior/incompetent/interrogative - demeaning competitors with intent that young hopefuls will believe this company is more valid than it is - "employing" workers out of Paris (even though it is registered in the United States); working outside of a loft near the Eiffel Tower but with no legal registration there is a business there - workers who have been around longer, can barely pay their bills; poorly paid - late on payment or changing payment dates - exploiting the need for work, to make you work more yet not give a contract or negotiate a position; only oral promises - randomly turning over or dropping people for no reason - using people who are interns or may be green to laws & regulations or simply eager to work; to do their dirty laundry for little pay - tolerating the business as a start-up, and deceiving new on comers this is a huge company, "everybody knows us." - all are said to be "independent contractors" but no one is actually tied to the company - not prompt on team communication, or overall management communication - undermine on marketing department, deleting work account while still at the job - undermining, talking behind back to get rid of - turning over a lot of people to keep a few
