Pros

Very good health insurance they pay 100 percent. Lots of gratis.

Cons

An amazing company that declined. Unfortunately due to the merger with Lauder it changed drastically and fast. BECCA used to be a small family oriented company that truly valued you and cared about your professional growth. Unreasonable goals, micromanagement, and a feeling that you are always going to get in trouble. The expectations are unreasonable as they encourage you to work in store 8-10 hours a day at 1,000 dollar goal a day including multiple mega events a month. They also took away all office days so you have to work on your day off to get your office work complete. The brand itself has lost its identity in the color world. Extremely high turnover recently. Low pay compared to other color brands. New management has created a very uncomfortable working environment. Do not recommend.

Thank you so much for your feedback! During a time of integration, there is an adjustment period where employees are definitely affected by the change which is very unfortunate. At BECCA, we heard this feedback from current employees and we were able to re-establish firm office days and due to our backing from Estee Lauder, we were able to re-evaluate our compensation which is quite competitive in the market. On average, we are trending on the higher end of the spectrum for our field teams. We also have grown our teams massively which helped with bettering our work/life balance. We appreciate your comment and we hope that you are aware we are taking all of this very seriously in order to implement effective change.

Pros

Gives new people a chance to train and learn Summer Friday's off at 2pm Room to adapt own systems for your own understanding of the work. Great pay and benefits.

Cons

Unreasonable CFO with a power trip and no knowledge. The reason that the turnover rate is about 50 percent given the size of the office staff. Lots of gossip and unprofessionalism at the office. CEO is rarely in the office and does not make attempt to get to know new staff.

Pros

great pay and benefits, some nice co-workers at mid level and below

Cons

Very poor senior management from VP level and above - this affects everything, it all trickles from the top. Everything is a constant fire drill, many times without good reasons beyond poor management. Sneaky, inauthentic agendas and a lack of transparency with initiatives, policies and projects. Backstabbing, toxic culture is fostered due to lack of positive senior management presence and guidance. Expected to be on call 24/7. Over 50 percent turnover rate because of this.
