Pros

The Senior Leadership team live by the values of the company and actively encourage engagement and self-development.

Cons

Being a small team you have to limit your projects and be realistic with future goals and timeframes. This is not so much a con as this itself parents the opportunity to learn some valuable skills such as patience, priotisation and time management.

Pros

A start up on the brink of growth, there's work to do but you are valued for what you put in. As well as regular checkins, there's an understanding that if you have something to say then it will be heard. And not only that, but that what you say will actually be considered and taken on board, whatever level you're at. Despite being a small team, there's realistic expectations of what can be accomplished. The culture is very much put in what you can, but there's no expectations to work beyond your hours. Flexible hours mean you can fit work around your commitments, with real encouragement on staying active. As well as 29 days annual leave, there's an additional 4 days a year for volunteering and "cycle ride" days; days separate to your annual leave where you can spend time doing what's valued. Remote work is standard although some teams spend more time in the office, and there's reasons to come into the office for anyone through litter picking, exercise groups or catchups over a coffee. As a BCorp aiming for "an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economy for all people and our shared planet" there is a real emphasis on sustainability in every decision at Bikmo; It's one of the reasons I joined the company.

Cons

It's a small company which won't suit everyone. In particular, some people have a combined role that is often split in other companies, so the ability to reassess priorities and needs is helpful. Support is there when you need it, but there is more autonomy that other companies. Usually that's a good thing, but I've added it in cons as it can sometimes feel like you're working on your own especially if your team mostly works remotely.

Pros

A company with a culture of supporting its employees wherever possible and one that puts sustainability at the forefront.

Cons

There are some growing pains as part of a small company with fast growth, but no outstanding cons
