Pros

Easy to get in because no one apply

Cons

Most teams only promote lazy people who how to impress boss or taking other teammates work credit. Those lazy people will make sure you work double time or triple time with at least double amount of work, then director, manager, lead title people will jump out take all your hard work and credit to build up point for looking good to upper management. Then you will find out drama behind all screens at the end. They about run out cash. Merging deal to Galaxy digital is still under SEC petition/contingency. If the deal not working out by the end of 2023. Mostly, they are done.

Pros

BitGo offers an amazing environment for those who want to make a tangible impact, especially in the tech and financial services sectors. My experience as a Security Advisor has been rewarding, as BitGo values collaboration and empowers employees to drive change. The company culture promotes collaboration, teamwork, and encourages cross-functional alignment, which has allowed me to play a significant role in advancing security goals that align with business goals without causing bottlenecks. The emphasis on a “startup mentality” means there’s always room to innovate and grow, which is ideal for anyone who enjoys a fast-paced and agile environment. The leadership here is supportive, with managers who genuinely invest in your professional development. In my case, my manager recognized my contributions in connecting across all BitGo departments including but not limited to Product, Engineering, Marketing, CSMs, Legal, Sales, Trust, Compliance, and Risk to align and drive company Cybersecurity OKRs. The positive feedback I received highlights the company’s value on individual growth and adaptability, as well as their commitment to fostering a positive and productive work culture. This is a wonderful culture where it's people do both, work hard and work smart.

Cons

While BitGo provides a great environment to grow, the startup culture also means you’ll need to be comfortable adapting quickly and focusing on efficiency over formality. For some, this can feel challenging, but for those who thrive in a dynamic fast paced environment, it’s an opportunity to excel.

Pros

- Free healthcare - Decent benefits - Smart engineers

Cons

- Raised $50mm then proceeded to lay off scores of people with 2-week severance - Most managers have no empathy and no idea how to communicate with their teams - Forced to go to the office part-time even if your team is remote - CEO threatened to fire employees who didn't show up in the office - Over worked and hardly shown any reward for it

Pros

• Great group of smart, hardworking folks collaborating to achieve great things • Empathetic managers who are able to protect teams from chaotic leadership, guides teams through hard times, and enables people to do great work • Feels like a startup where people can have a big impact on the company and product • Huge product potential in a cutting edge, exciting industry • Culture seems to be improving

Cons

• Feels like a startup (all the downsides of startups without the upsides) where chaos reigns, leaderships expects hard work, but lacks startup perks such as embracing remote work, supporting employee attendance at industry events, and no company off sites • Vague mission, values, longterm vision • A chaotic jumble of tools and process • Helicopter CEO • Second level leadership creates a lot of unneeded chaos and doesn't know how to delegate or trust their teams with big decisions

Pros

The people you work with are smart, very hard working, and generally pleasant. The managers are usually very competent and chill.

Cons

Crypto is very fast-paced and this results in a very fast-paced work environment. This means you gotta put in the extra hours. Certain teams have it worse than others, but there's definitely at least a few weeks out of the year that can be pretty stressful.

Pros

Great people and culture. Smart and talented people. Very security-conscious team. CEO is very smart and a good leader.

Cons

Young smart but inexperienced engineers do all the work. The engineering managers are not very technical and CTO is not very involved. This company needs better engineering leadership.
