Pros

There are a lot of really good people. The good people are the best part of the company.

Cons

Attrition: People are treated poorly for leaving and rarely leave on good terms because management is angry. Diversity: Having a DE&I program along with a statement on its website does not make BlueConic a diverse place. It makes it politically correct; there is a huge difference between being politically correct and making your company a welcoming and inclusive place to work. BlueConic has a lot of work to do to make minorities feel comfortable working there. Coaching: Feedback is rare and career development is even rarer. Management: Some managers are experienced and well-intentioned, but many are barely able to understand the product let alone how staff do their jobs; this significantly diminishes management's ability to be effective. Culture: Working at BlueConic feels like a trip back through high school where the “Plastics” from “Mean Girls” are in charge; the way “Regina George” treats the staff she dislikes is hard to watch. She openly shares that she “struggles with empathy”, which is a terrible sentiment for a leader to have. This is the real essence of the company. Run away as fast as you can. If you do decide to pursue a role, keep your expectations low.

Pros

- Product is sound. - Market is growing.

Cons

- Egotistical sales management (my way or high way). Dictator-like. - No defined sales process. - Very limited promotional path. - Lack of pipeline. - Inconsistent direction from higher-ups, false promises. - No enablement.

Pros

Good Pay and Good Benefits, opportunities for advancement if you are with the in-crowd.

Cons

Lots of silent firing. The CSM team had 5 different managers over a 2 year period. The organization has NOT gone through any type of ADA compliance training, they do not know how to work with individuals with disabilities and actually have an individual in a top level role that criticized an employee with a speech impairment due to a Traumatic Brain Injury that happened while she was a BlueConic employee. BlueConic does not work well with those that do not fit in their cookie cutter profile of a perfect employee. People are afraid to speak up because if you disagree with management you disappear from the company.
