Poor working culture and inadequate leadership. Short-comings in planning andf foresight are chalked up as being a "fast-paced, dynamic" environment. Business units continue to lose money and leadership unable to turn this around. Claim to be "Fin-tech" but they lose money despite charging considerable interest. Hardly "Fin" let alone "Tech". Culturally they despise using Microsoft Applications such as Office so they end up using spurious, poorly designed and supported software instead and they ask why it doesn't perform. Bluestone group could realistically end up being the cause of the next Financial Crisis with their practices....think Northern Rock. If you're considering applying or working for Bluestone Group then I implore you to reconsider. You are better than this.

Honestly the worst year of my life. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. Management intent on using a software provider that over and over proved they couldn't deliver. I was made responsible for babysitting them (they were based in Australia so lots of 7am/6pm calls). Regular recommendations to drop the company were ignored. I was sent to Australia on a mercy mission to try and get the thing live . The project was over a year late when I left. I later found out that it never went live and the business relied on a PDF form instead.
