Pros

What attracted me to Boardable continues to keep me at Boardable even past the "honeymoon" phase. It's not just "culture speak" it is true culture in motion. When I first interviewed I thought, "Huh, these people seem really nice", when I was made the offer I thought, "Mmm, these people really seem to care". When I began my work here it was, "Wow, so much to do, but they seem to understand that and it won't be solved in a day". Now that I have been here it's more, "I would die for this even though they would never expect me to." My passion for Boardable, even with all it's changes and pivots and start-up issues, grows deeper everyday because the people. From the top-down they are in it with you, every step of the way. They are not only building a fabulous, cutting edge product, they continue to acknowledge that it's the people who make it all work. What more can you ask for?

Cons

The only consistent is change, If you are built on an unmovable foundation of the same work and focus day after day, it won't work here... yet. We are in deep revision mode. So everyday brings a new challenge. We need people who understand that, embrace it, and lean into it with all of their might. Some might call this a con. I am built this way, so I call it deep brain emersion and I dig it.

Pros

- Unlimited PTO - A company that truly cares about you, your family, your well being and worklife balance - Great culture and fun work environment - A place where you can truly be yourself

Cons

- Typical start-up/scale up growing pains - Lots of pivots as they figure out their place in the market - Could've focused a bit more on professional development

Pros

Unlimited PTO- that is if you aren’t the only person in your department. If that is the case, PTO does not exist

Cons

One person departments, extremely high work load, LAYOFFS
