      Outstanding workplace in this family owned company

      Pros

      Great work atmosphere in a brand new building with all the amenities. Coworkers and management willing to provide support for the most part. Constant free training available onsite.

      Cons

      Very flat organization with limited opportunities to get promoted. As with any other company in the construction field the job site hours are 6am-2pm, and office work would prolong to 5pm. Therefore, 10 to 12 hour workdays were frequent, but PM's do not get overtime. Salary was not competitive.

      Pros

      Great people here. They are willing to help and share their knowledge. The company shows concern for their employees by listening and making changes, but it can be a slow process. Overall, the company treat you well.

      Cons

      The company seem to be hiring most of the time, but this mostly won't be a position for you to move up to. It's very hard to climb the ladder due to the lack of need. You need to know the right people to help get what you want and you might have to fight for it. Office politics.

      Pros

      Unless you work in the executive office, I don't think anyone can say that you get to see the President come by your desk just to say hello. You would always see a member of our Advisory team someone where in the office. Whether they are in a meeting to support your training or volunteering at one of the company sponsored events, our leaders are always available.

      Cons

      Our average tenure is more than 11 years so that shows in itself.
