Pros

BSMH is a great place to work. The onsite office is beautiful and well-equipped with amenities such as a Singing Space, Somnus (sleeping area), Game Station, and unlimited coffee, which create a comfortable and enjoyable work environment. The staff and leaders are polite, supportive, and approachable, fostering a positive workplace culture. BSMH also has a noble mission and strong in-house support systems that help employees grow and achieve their career goals. Additionally, the benefits are competitive and, if not ahead of, other companies in the Philippines. Overall, it is an excellent organization to be part of.

Cons

As a start-up, we’re still in the process of building a great organization, but our mission remains clear: to extend compassionate care and health support to those who need it most. Joining us now means you’ll have the opportunity to help shape our culture, processes, and impact from the ground up.

Terrible place to work since merger.

Pros

I got great experience but the cons outweigh the pros. I got great experience because I was put in unsafe staffing situations where I had to do the best that I could and risk my license. No RN should have to do that.

Cons

Understaffed, underpayed, overworked. It’s typical to not use the bathroom or have a sip of water for over 10+ hrs which is just unhealthy. Management doesn’t listen to advice by the nurses who are actually providing care, they’re only concerned about $$$

Pros

If i could give negative stars I would. Since Mercy took over Bon Secours, St Franis has gone from moderately bad to horrendous. Throughout the pandemic nurses have been largely left to our own with new rules that changed by the minute and little communication. They are a Magnet facility where nurses were encouraged to inflate the culture there with a promise of a raise that didn't come until Mercy health decided to give everyone a raise a year later. Changes come out of left field and admin lacks communication to even share with their frontline staff.

Cons

There is nothing good to say.
