Needing a strategy

Recommend

Business outlook

Pros

Good location on the Gold Coast. Pleasant campus (although facilities are no longer cutting edge and becoming dated)

Cons

VC completely lacks any vision and is an unpleasant, insecure and dictatorial authoritarian. It is a most unpleasant place to work that lacks any form of strategy - despite the glossy brochures that get distributed that carry that title. The university is losing its credibility by employing dubiously qualified sessionals whilst they've lost most of their experienced academics. Decent research is almost non-existent and the Research Office is useless and does their best to effectively discourage any quality research.
