A Painful and Long Lesson Serving this Company

Pros

The founder is widely regarded as humble and down to earth, but he has stepped away from the business. The current leadership, however, seems far more privileged and disconnected from the people who actually keep the company running. They excel at selling optimism and future success, even when there is little substance behind it. Many long-serving employees stay for decades, continuing to believe the next big opportunity is just around the corner.

Cons

Many employees are brought in with the promise of opportunity, yet the environment rarely supports real growth. Leadership across departments lacks direction, creating frustration for those trying to perform and improve. HR initiatives frequently stall once they reach management approval. Marketing and Communications focus more on internal narratives than meaningful market engagement. E-Commerce ambitions exist largely in theory without a structured plan, and merchandising continues to operate under outdated thinking that resists change.

Pros

Work-life balance & good colleague

Cons

1. The current mindset is quite traditional and may not be an ideal fit for younger, dynamic employees. 2. The work must consistently match the creative director’s preferences, which can be hard for younger staff to interpret. Frequent changes in direction complicate the creative workflow. Even after approval, decisions may be reversed overnight, and ideas that were previously rejected can resurface weeks later as new suggestions from the director
