Pros

The open office environment is great. I was able to work along side coworkers without cubicles and felt welcomed to ask for help. Every one is willing to help wherever possible. Weekly trainings but they become repetitive. Pizza Fridays for lunch and summer Fridays which we got out at 2 pm.

Cons

Senior management, who are all best friends, don't listen to employees while they preach open door policy. Bonuses don't apply to everyone in which I was denied mine for with no solid explanation why. Staff is overwhelmed with clients deadlines while receiving more clients for back work. Senior management misrepresents company information at quarterly meetings. Director of CFO doesn't know how to treat people with respect and thinks he's always right and disregards our work that gets put into it. Work becomes a boring routine. Some employees get special perks than others. All of the 5 star reviews were requested by the CEO. No proper training for employees who come in to take over accounts.

Thank you for taking the time to review us. Though we question if this review was meant for us due to the number of falsities within your statement, in no way, shape or form does your review represent us as a company, our team, our CEO, management, or our culture. We take pride in the amazing culture we have within our organization and all of the amazing people that work here that bring our culture and company to life. Within your review, you mention “Forced large workloads and no ability to refuse clients” We disagree with this; we have monthly check-ins with our team, maintain a 40-45 hour work week and actively discuss workload with our team. We hire in advance of new business to ensure we have the appropriate amount of team to support business growth. We know as we grow, our team needs to expand. And we’ve just come out of summer Fridays, where the team wrapped up their days around 1 PM their local time! Even during the peak of tax season, our team does not exceed a 50-hour work week. And our management reviews times sheets often to ensure this. You identified you worked for the company for over 2 years; your statement is completely untruthful. You mentioned a “lack of guidance”. In response, I would remind you of the monthly town hall meetings where department leaders share updates from all areas of the business, and we provide strategic updates of where we are heading as an organization. We also have many forms that our team can voice their concerns with anonymous feedback forms that are read by management, and we have internal HR as a resource too. You mentioned “Constantly changing confusing processes” - We’re growing fast. We’ve doubled our team in the past year. We know the processes a 20-person company follows vs. a 70-person company are different and that you will need to evolve and adapt as you scale. Our team ALWAYS has the ability to provide feedback and provide input on our process publicly and privately. When we decide to change a process, we discuss the changes with our team before making them because it's generally our team who comes up with the ideas, to begin with. Unequal pay and treatment for minorities and women - We’d have to disagree here as well. Bookkeeper360 is a company that knows we are stronger with a diverse and inclusive culture at its core. I invite you to visit Bookkeeper360’s meet the team page to see our amazing team www.bookkeeper360.com/team Bullying and sexist language are often used- ABSOLUTELY NOT. We have a ZERO tolerance policy for this. If you worked at Bookkeeper360 and experienced anything remotely close to this, there are multiple avenues to communicate your concerns with HR or even anonymously. Out of touch CEO- This is Nick, the CEO responding to this review. I think you can tell by the depth of my response how in touch I am with the organization and how I am making it the absolute best place for our team to build their careers. In summary, We understand it is tough to be successful in a fast-paced, rapid-growth environment, and we recognize this environment is not for everyone. We do all we can to ensure all team members are successful and set up for success. We are proud of who we are, the direction we are heading, all of our staff members, and the work we provide for our clients. If you have further feedback to share, we’d love an email; please contact me directly at npasquarosa@bookkeeper360.com.

Pros

Where to begin... Let me start off by saying I was wanting a remote work environment so that I can be there (more) for my family. At the same time, I was looking to continue doing what I love. My previous employer had an extremely toxic work environment and the culture was rotting from the inside out. I was sceptic about the possibility of stepping into the same thing. I did a TON of research on BK360 before applying. From the previous reviews, company website, and multiple articles written on them I decided to apply. Boy am I beyond happy I did so! I have never worked in such an inclusive, welcoming, and friendly work environment. From day one, the onslaught of individuals I met made me feel as though I made the right decision. Everyone told me that if I needed anything they would help me and that they were here to support me. And it has been that way still. It is very challenging work as it is very fast-paced and the fact that I am working with different clients constantly. I am definitely learning soooo much. If you are looking to make a change to somewhere you will be respected, have fun, be challenged, and continually learn then look no further! I was scared and nervous when looking to switch jobs but I have finally found my home. I am very excited for the future, and am happy to be along for the ride. I cannot recommend BK360 enough, you can thank me later!

Cons

They are going through some large growth, thus creating growing pains, fast-paced work environment and having to think quickly. I am one who loves a good challenge so I find this to be enjoyable. I can see how that might not be the case for everyone.
