      Okay, but seems to be going downhill

      Pros

      * A lot of the people are amazing * Great flexibility with schedules * Remote-first, with no current plans to ever return to the office

      Cons

      * Focus on productivity has led to a lot of micromanagement * Lots of layoffs in the last couple of years and partners leaving left and right. At the rate things are going, I'm not sure if I'd be surprised if the company goes out of business in the next 5 years. * Most of the lower-level in-house career advancement positions have been dissolved. * AI and foreign contractors took a lot of jobs in the last year. * The pay is not good. They also haven't done a 401(k) match since before covid.

      Solid company with good perks

      Pros

      Contrary to other reviews I've seen here by non current Boost employees there are bonuses every quarter. As well as many other perks. Soda, gym membership, free food on the regular. Not to forget the opportunity. Many of the leaders and management came from internal promotion. Training as well. Many people join the team not knowing much about SEO or business in general. This job can be a good stepping stone or a long term career. It's your choice! Don't forget the relationships. I've meet many people here at work that I would now call life long friends. I know these relationships will reflect positively on me on my work ethic and possibilities for future employment. It's a small valley and I want to have great opportunities for the future.

      Cons

      Some roles are stepping stones. Many people stay for a year then move on to progress their career. I've had many friends do that and I miss them, but I know it's the right thing for them. No company can be everything to everyone forever. These people left their mark and are now focused on the next opportunity. Good for them.

      Pros

      The People - Having excellent coworkers is what makes me want to come to work each day. That is a crucial part of the work environment and one of the things that I enjoy most about this job. I am also impressed with the benefits package offered by Boostability. HSA, Healthcare, 401k, PTO, and Tenure rewards all meet or exceed my expectations.

      Cons

      Training is usually specifically tailored toward your position's job requirements. However, there are different avenues available, such as shadowing other teams, to enhance your overall industry knowledge.
