Pros

Well-respected in market & good range of products to industry. Focus on showing customers how to improve their processes and save money in the process. Pay fairly competitive salaries

Cons

Poor quality senior management who believe they're always right - command and control structure - they don't want to hear employee ideas or feedback. The attitude really is think yourself lucky you work here - live to work we expect you to be available 24/7 Management competency is poor and employees are overworked and increasingly demotivated. You're micro-managed by spreadsheets and processes for the sake of processes and woe betide you if you dare question the process -no CI here!

Pros

You are not accountable for anything in real terms, you are governed by a system that has created it. If you want to have a computer says NO work ethic then Brammer is the company for you.

Cons

Middle management are glorified internal sales with no knowledge of the real world. Leadership team have no clue of what will work and encourage the middle managers to encourage the managers to invoice as much as possible nearing end of month, to falseafy the figures. There is no interest to customers, as the computer system can't give answers.

Pros

After going through some tough times 12-18 mths ago, Brammer Buck & Hickman is now in a good place with the platform to thrive. The company now has a listening leadership team that genuinely want to hear your comments. Huge investment has been made on training the teams to be focused sales people looking at providing the best sales experience possible instead of just being order processing robots. The company no longer has a centralised command & control ethos. Each branch team has been empowered to be masters of their own destiny with the ability to decide on what’s best for their customers & what they need to do to be successful.

Cons

Some computer systems need upgrading but this has been recognised and further investment on upgrades is already being rolled out.
