Pros

Weekly free lunch; relatively flexible work times; dog-friendly work space; great opportunity to work on your communication skills with managers who don't know how to communicate.

Cons

Made to feel like you always need to work; poor management and leadership with zero communication skills; encouraged to write bad code so that you finish, resulting in the devs constantly being on call fixing bugs because it doesn't work; don't prioritize making a product that works well and is easy to use because there's little competition in the space. Bottom line: boss treats you like an idiot, makes you cry, then you go home at night and feel bad that you're not still working, then you go back the next day and do it all over again.

Pros

Free lunch Fridays, great management, and an important mission. Intentionally or not, this company has a super-diverse team, which aligns with the work they're doing. Overall, this has been my best professional experience thus far.

Cons

None to come to mind.
