Mission-driven w/ a product that truly helps people better life quality
Flexible Work from home
Unlimited PTO
Supportive, non-toxic work culture
Independence to try your own methods (they support what you’re doing if you’re getting results)
Great C-suite staff
Great work-life balance
Cons
Scantly-resourced startup
Very little training
No enablement
Low morale in sales bc few sales transactions - uphill battle selling it as a must-have
Managers over committed
Promised career advancement in non individual contributor roles, but didn’t deliver on the job or in the time frame - constantly promised with no action (largely due to low spending bc didn’t sell enough)
BrightPlan's a fantastic company doing good in the financial wellness realm. The company's mission is very genuine, just like the people who work there. The management team is experienced and embraces a culture of honest discussions, empowerment, and making and learning from mistakes. The industry is fast-growing, so it is an exciting time.
Cons
Just like at any tech startup, working at BrightPlan is fast-paced. For me, how BrightPlanners jump on a call at a moment's notice to come up with solutions works well. But if you like to get things done while working from home, then that's not a problem.
